Not dated but circa 1960. 32pp with black and white plate illustrations and diagrams, charts etc. Stapled booklet in stiff card covers with yapped edges (covers are a little edge worn, lightly chipped along spine, previous owner's name in top corner). Internally, some inert staining around top edge and leading corners, else neat and tight. 8vo. Practical guidance for embroiderers undertaking needlework for the church, with interesting sections on the history of church needlework and features on The Winchester Cathedral embroiders, the Woolhampton Hassocks, needlework in the Old Church, Chelsea and the Guildford Cathedral Kneelers.
