Welsh Bible. Undated, but the London Printing and Publishing Company was active between around 1800 and 1860; this volume is likely from towards the end of that period. Bound in full, plain leather. Elephant folio. Heavily rubbed at edges, leather worn away at corners and spine ends, scraped and marked. Boards and text block edges soiled and discoloured. Marbled endpapers (hinges taped), a little damaged at edges with a couple of short tears. Gutter strained between frontispiece and title page. Title page printed in red and black. Early pages, including title page, are worn and stained at edges and margins; thereafter occasional spotting and staining. Engraved frontispiece, with further plate engravings in text. A lovely, enormous and weighty family Bible in Welsh, worthy of restoration.
