<p>48pp, 48 coloured plates in rear. Grey cloth coloured boards with lettering on red background on front, black lettering on spine. 8vo. Moderate sun-fading to spine, spine ends bumped with minor cloth loss. Light fading along top of boards. Corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Internally the volume is gutter strained midway through, otherwise neat, clean and bright. Dust jacket poor, incomplete and laid in.</p> <p>The first part of this book is the mineralogical dictionary, the second part are the coloured plates illustrating 125 minerals.</p>
