Top edge gilt, other edges deckled. Title page printed in red and black. Boards moderately rubbed and rounded on spine ends. W H Smith Library Bookplate on front paste down (with withdrawn label). No other library markings. Mild spotting on endpapers. Some occasional edge damage to a few pages, tissue-guard is toned and creased over corner. Gutter after front endpapers strained causing some looseness. A lovely, vintage volume.
