Undated but circa 1950. 302pp, with colour plate frontispiece and seven further colour plate illustrations. In cream cloth-covered boards with extensive gilt decorations front and spine. Top edge gilt. 12mo. Boards a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Front free endpaper absent. Some spotting and toning on text block edges and endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A collection of traditional French fairy tales. Text in French. Lovely vintage volume.
