Not dated, but adverts include works published up to 1909, so presumed c 1910, which is consistent with style of book and other interior evidence. Monochrome plate frontispiece, with tissue guard bound in, and three further monochrome plate illustrations. Coloured endpapers. Green cloth covered boards with attractive, elaborate blind embossed decoration on front and mixed blind embossed and gilt decoration to spine. Boards gently rubbed at corners, and some mild marks on reverse. Some spotting, especially on fore-edge. Neat, square and tight. An attractive copy of this important temperance novel. 0
