Occasional light soiling, tanning and foxing throughout. Dust jacket spine worn and soiled, heavy chipping along heel, <1cm closed tear and tape adhered to head; covers price-clipped, soiled and with a lot of tape adhered, section of loss at top of front flap; interior soiled with more tape adhered; water staining to bottom edges. Flowers collected and painted in the summer evenings of 1873 from English meadows and commons.
