Title page in red and black, with vignette 12mo. Boards gently rubbed at corners and spine tips, top third of rear joint cracked, a little shelf wear. Some spotting on prelims only. Bookbinders small, discreet stamp on front free endpaper verso. A very attractive volume, handsomely and extravagantly bound, of this classic work on the birds of Britain.
