Spine ends heavily rubbed with cloth fraying. Corners heavily rubbed and rounded with paper worn through. Text block edges lightly tanned, soiled and foxed (affecting page margins), top edge dusty. Volume quite loose; gutter stretched at half-title page (almost detached). Foxing throughout (including pull out map), heaviest towards top edge and beginning and end of volume.
