<p><p>Text in French. 154pp, with 9 stunning full page colour illustrations tipped in and numerous further line drawings in text, elegant page borders, decorative endpapers. In illustrated grey cloth-covered boards. Tall 4to. Cloth boards heavily worn and soiled rubbed on all edges, right through on corners, small tears and fraying in cloth a spine ends, grubby. Hinges cracked, volume loosened, with last page detached. Bookplate of the County Secondary School, Dalston, on front free endpaper, indicating the volume was awarded to Beatrice Gross in 1919. Page edges rubbed, mild toning in margins. This volume is fair condition only, at best.
