Book One's corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Top text block edges dusty and foxing. Moderate tanning and some light foxing on free endpapers, Book One has some soiling on rear pastedown. Name and address in pen on front free endpaper verso in Book One, name in pen on front free endpaper in Reference Book One. Book One has some creasing around bottom corner of title page. Internally neat, clean and tight. Preface by Catherine B Firth (Reference Book One) and A F Titterton (Book One). Written for children aged 11-12.
