Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket sun-faded, has light shelf wear, chipping to edges. The New Temple Shakespeare series comprised 40 hard back volumes of Shakespeare's plays and poetry, with commentary, issued between 1934 and 1956. Each volume was edited by M R Ridley, and features half-title and title pages with engraved vignettes by Eric Gill, making for small and elegant presentations of Shakespeare's works.
