An Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard

Undated (circa 1900s). 26pp. Dark blue cloth-covered boards, black and gilt decorations on front, reverse titles on front, blind embossed titles on spine, text block edges gilt, bevelled edges, many black and white illustrations. 12mo. Boards moderately worn and soiled. Spine heavily sun-faded and moderately worn, ends heavily rubbed with cloth worn through, some loss at head and 1cm closed tear at heel and rear joint. Corners heavily rubbed and rounded with cloth wearing through. Endpapers stained in top outer corners, sections of loss on free endpapers in top outer corners. Hinges and gutters stretched; very loose. Foxing throughout but heaviest towards the beginning and end of volume. Tanning towards beginning and end of volume.
