Boards moderately worn and soiled. Spine heavily sun-faded, edges worn. Spine ends and corners moderately rubbed and rounded. Text block edges heavily tanned. Front free endpaper missing, rear free endpaper moderately tanned, pastedowns lightly foxed and tanned. Hinges cracked and stretched, gutters stretched throughout, volume very loose. First page heavily tanned. Occasional light tanning throughout, heavy foxing towards beginning and end of volume.
