📖 Description
Undated but circa 1960. 158pp. Mass market paperback in illustrated light card wrappers. 12mo. Covers rubbed at edges, especially on spine joints, and a little discoloured, mild reading crease along spine. Front hinge strained, mild toning to pages, else neat and tidy. Terse, and leaving nothing to the imagination, this novel covers the period of the Second World War from the German advance towards Alamein to the thunderous barrage which preceded the British advance across the desert to Tripoli. Cover illustrations by Dan Rainey, the British artist who worked for Badger and Digit Books in the early 1960s.
