Signed and inscribed by Charles Hiatt on the reverse of the front free endpaper, 'From a pupil who learned more of you, among many teachers, more than any other, Charles Hiatt'. In cream coloured Victorian cloth, illustrated and decorated, gilt titles front and spine. Top edge gilt. 8vo. . Cloth is worn, corners and spine ends rubbed and rounded with a couple of short nicks in cloth at head of s lightly sunned spine. Previous owner's name on spotted endpapers, front hinge cracked. Some faint and occasional spotting. Volume is a little loose. A magnificent records of placards and poster art of the 19th century with many stylish illustrations.
