<p>First edition, first impression.  222pp, colour plate frontispiece and line drawings in text.  In red cloth-covered boards with black lettering on spine. 12mo.  Cloth a little bruised at spine ends, a tad rounded on corners.  Upper text block edge slightly dust darkened with faint and occasional foxing on other edges.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original dust wrapper, lightly bumped at edges, rubbed a spine edges, a little shelf worn.</p> <p>Frank Richards is one of tseveral pen names of Charles Hamilton (1876-1961), one of the most popular and prolific authors of boy's school stories and long-running series stories featuring recurring characters.  Perhaps best known for the Greyfriars School stories featuring Billy Bunter, he also created St Jim's School starring Tom Merry and Rockwood School, under the pen name Owen Conquest.  We have many Charles Hamilton books in stock and can offer generous discounts to those ordering more than one book at a time - please inquire.  </p>
