<p>Undated but circa 1910.  32pp, with one colour plate illustration and further monochrome illustrations in text.  In red light card wrappers, stapled.  12mo.  Covers a little shelf worn, gently rubbed at corners and spine ends.  Previous owner's name neatly inked on front cover.   Internally a few signs of handling and a little bleed at corners of first leaf, else neat and clean.  </p> <p>An unusal little booklet, part of the 'Magic Carpet' series designed to transport young readers to various different parts of the world.  This volume covers India but it is not a travelogue, more a series of snapshot of typical features (as seen from a very period perspective).</p>
