<p>Facsimile reprint of the original 1888 edition. 130ppp, with beautilf woodcut illustrations throughout.  Green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering front and spine.  12mo.  Cloth just a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, some toning on text block edges else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original browned and shelf worn dust wrapper, slightly bumped on edges.</p> <p>A now hard to find collection of 35 Geordie folk songs, several in Geordie dialect and all relating to the 'Newcassell (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) in some way, some accompanied by the music.</p>
