(Pages a little offset in binding, resulting in some edge wear and the occasional chip; occasional discreet library ownership stamps and call numbers, in pencil on copyright page). Catalogue produced to accompany the Exhibition of L'Art Nouveau, from the priceless collection S Bing, held in Paris in 1899. Features of the exhibition were Favrile Glass by Louis C Tiffany, Bronzes and Pictures by Constantin Meunier, Artistic Jewels after the designs of Colonna, Pictures by Besnard, Cottet, Manet, Pissaro etc and Antique Japanese Prints, all from Bing's collection. Catalogue also includes essays on Louis C Tiffany, his glass work and the life and works of Meunier etc. Now a very hard to find volume but essential reference on Tiffany glass work, Art Nouveau and Meunier in particular.
