Bound in half leather over cloth (boards patchily faded, rubbed at edges, a few marks and scuffs, one corner leather piece absent, but still strong). Internally neat, clean and fresh barring occasional faint, scattered spotting. Strong green endpapers. Forty-seven large lithographic portraits of notable personages, including eight in colour. Subjects include Lady Churchill (the mother of Winston Churchill), Sarah Bernhardt, Lady Poltimore, Mr Edison, The American Ambassador, Lady Monckton etc. Approximately 10.5 by 15 inches.
