📖 Description
1870s-1880s. A collection of papers, mostly single sheets, roughly an inch thick, relating to the masonic Chapter of Fidelity (No. 289) in the Royal Arch Province of Yorkshire West Riding, mostly dating from 1870s but handful from 1884. The bulk are individual summonses to Chapter meetings or to perform Chapter duties but also interspersed are accounts, personal correspondence and other incidentals. The majority are printed, or printed with manuscript additions and annotations but a few are manuscript in entirety. In very good condition, barring the first and last which are soiled and rubbed having been exposed. Some of the papers have fold marks consistent with having been enveloped and posted. Occasional faint marks. A unique collection of masonic documentation.
