First edition. 320pp, plus sections of black and white photographs, with further maps and charts in text, some printed in two colours. Charts on endpapers. In black cloth-covered boards with gilt titles to spine (boards strong and square, just a little worn). Top edge dusty. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket (a little faded on reverse). The dust jacket is now protected in an archival quality mylar wrapper, fitted without use of adhesives or tape.
