Pictorial boards with linen cloth spine (worn, heavily rubbed at edges, cloth bruised and rubbed at spine tips, faded, chipped on corners). Internally some page tanning at margins, binding strained, some loose leaves, only four of the eight colour plates called for present, some signs of figuring, three leaves have a three inch tear running from lower edge). This copy is in poor condition and incomplete. We would not usually offer a book in this condition, but this is a very scarce, hard-to-find title, highly desirable for its stunning illustrations, so we thought someone may appreciate this copy to fill a gap in a collection until a better copy can get sourced or afforded.
