In a later binding of full red leather, with gilt decorations and five raised bands on spine, top edge gilt. Richly marbled endpapers. (Small rub on lower edge of front board, slight darkening to ungilded text block edges, short crack at top of gutter). A truly handsome volume, remarkably clean and bright with gorgeous illustrations - an heirloom volume that would make an excellent gift. .
