In its original dust jacket (bumped on edges, sunned around spine and perhaps a little faded). Dust jacket is protected in an old Brodart-style sleeve which has been taped to the endpapers. Georgette Heyer, an English novelist and short story writer, effectively established the historical romance genre, and its sub-genre of Regency Romances, and has remained popular among readers since the publication of her first novel, The Black Month, in 1921.
