📖 Description
Not dated but circa 1975 (and certainly after 1970, when Scotney Castle was gifted to the National Trust). 20pp stapled booklet in laminated card covers, black and white illustrations throughout. (covers just a little worn at edges, small scar in paper on rear cover). Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A brief but incisive account of the history of Scotney Castle, in Kent, and its gardens written by the garden historian Christopher Hussey who was the last of the generations of Husseys to live in the castle. Illustrations show both historic and contemporary views of the Castle and gardens.
