Signed and inscribed on title page 'To Group Captain David, with best wishes and thanks for your help, Alfred Price'. There is a further inscription on page 62 & 63 next to the piece on Pilot Officer Dennis David (one of "the Few") which reads 'For Margaret - The finest partner a man could ever wish for, and I love you with all my heart - Dennis July, 1990.' Authentic account of the hardest-fought day of the battle when 68 British and 69 German aircraft were destroyed, a combined loss greater than on any other day.
